As part of GUARD Archaeology Limited's commitment to undertake archaeology projects in support of local communities, we are collaborating with Murray Cook of Stirling Council, Central Scotland Police and Torbrex Community Council in providing training opportunities at Randolphfield and Beechwood in Stirling this Summer.
A programme of geophysical survey will take place between the 18th and 20th September 2012 at both locations and is designed to provide local residents an opportunity to take part in this exciting project under the supervision of professional staff from GUARD Archaeology Limited.
The project will cast light on the history of both sites using geophysics to find traces of the Roman Road, Standing Stones and information on the Battle of Bannockburn.
