GUARD Archaeology are pleased to be sponsoring this year's Archaeological Research in Progress Conference on 28 May 2016, to be held in Galashiels for the first time. Organised by Archaeology Scotland, this conference includes updates on recent archaeological work in the Scottish Borders, Dumfries and Galloway and Northumberland.
Registration for the event will be from 9.15 am on the day at The Volunteer Hall, St John Street, Galashiels, Borders, TD1 3JK.
The programme for the day featuring presentations, the launch of the annual Discovery and Excavation in Scotland Journal, stalls, refreshments, buffet lunch and a guided walk of Galashiels.
